Monthly Wrap-Up

Monthly Wrap-Up: October 2021 Books

In October, I finished one book and made progress on two!

The book that I finished is She-Wolves by Helen Castor. She-Wolves explores the lives of four incredible women who ruled England before Elizabeth I, despite never being official reigning monarchs. I loved reading about Empress Matilda, Eleanor of Aquitane, Isabella of France, and Margaret of Anjou – they each had such fascinating lives, and it was so interesting to see how they have shaped the lives that we live today!

The books that I made progress on are El Libro de Arena by Borges and Harry Potter y la Cámara Secreta by JK Rowling.

This brings my total for this year up to 33 (3 books ahead of schedule)!

What books did you read, or start reading, in October?

Thank you for reading this post.
